Peter Leroy Cuthbert was a teacher at Rolph Street Public School for many years. He is often remarked as "born to teach" with a sincere passion for education. One of his former students recalls "Mr. Cuthbert was a remarkable man and wonderful teacher. He taught me to tell time and encouraged me to read books that were beyond my reading level. I still hold some of his life lessons near and dear! When I think of Rolph Street public school, I think of him." Mr. Cuthbert taught in the classroom that use to be in this location
